I watched the movie Serenity last night. Based on the cult show The Firefly, this movie was produced by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer,) and included the cast from the TV show. I found it entertaining and amusing at points, but lacking the high quality graphical imagry now expected in todays Science Fiction movies. The outtakes should have warranted the DVD be rated R, as the language of the cast is atrocious. So be careful of those words if you watch this on DVD.

If you’re a Joss Whedon fan, then you’ve already seen this movie. Other fans of sci-fi flicks may want to pick up a copy and give the movie a whirl.
